I've been driving up and down Hwy 84 for a lot of years. There have been times when almost all the wells were idle. Some were even capped off. Today, I think everyone I passed (hundreds) were all pumping away. There is still a refinery in Big Springs (I think), but diesel was $4.15 a couple places close to it.....I paid $3.99 awhile ago, the cheapest I'd seen today.
